Area Export Manager

Eastern Europe (Primary focus: Poland)

Royal Greenland is looking for a motivated and commercially driven Area Export Manager to support and develop primarily our industrial export sales, but also retail sales, primarily in Poland and potentially other markets in Eastern Europe.

This role is a strong opportunity for a candidate who wants to build a career within international B2B and export sales in a global seafood company.

You will become part of our South/East Europe sales organization and work closely with experienced export and sales colleagues, back office support in Gdansk, and internal stakeholders across supply chain and category teams.

Your role

As Area Export Manager, you will be responsible for both developing existing business and driving new sales activities across industrial customers. In addition, you will play a key role in developing retail sales in the Polish market.

Your key responsibilities include:

  • Supporting and developing industrial export customers in Poland, Scandinavia, Middle East and selected Eastern European market
  • Identifying and developing new export sales opportunities within industrial and food manufacturing segments
  • Driving and developing retail sales in the Polish market
  • Managing customer dialogue, quotations, pricing and follow-up
  • Coordinating orders, forecasts and documentation with back office and supply chain
  • Preparing sales reports, pipeline updates and market insights
  • Participating in customer meetings, negotiations and trade fairs
  • Building strong market, product and customer knowledge

Your profile

We are looking for a commercially driven profile with a strong motivation to grow in an international export environment.

You likely have:

  • A relevant commercial or international business education
  • Experience in sales, export, business development or a customer-facing role
  • A strong commercial mindset combined with a structured and detail-oriented approach, ensuring high quality in both new business development and ongoing customer management
  • Strong IT skills, including experience with SAP, CRM systems and Microsoft Office
  • Strong communication skills and a proactive mindset
  • Interest in international trade, export sales and industrial customers
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating closely with a wider sales organisation
  • Fluency in English; Polish is a strong advantage
  • Willingness to travel occasionally within the region
